By Folder is not really by Folder

The setting By Folder for Navigation tree doesn't do what it should. I use a PS3 to view my UPnP/DLNA media server. Under Videos on the PS3 my server is listed, then I have to navigate to Videos > By Folder > My actual folders. Is there any way to get rid of the Videos and By Folders directories and just show my actual folders at the root level? I don't need any other folders trees other then my own. Serviio lets me do this but their rescan/refresh isn't the greatest.
