- Open TwonkyManager/TwonkyServer and copy down your license key.
- Uninstall TwonkyManager/TwonkyServer
- Install Twonky 7.0
- Reinstall TwonkyManager/TwonkyServer
Can I run TwonkyManager/TwonkyServer at the same time as Twonky 7.0 on the same machine?
Yes, you can, but we are currently seeing some conflicts when you initially install Twonky 7.0. Please follow the following steps to run both programs at the same time.

Is this procedure also applicable when Twonky 7 and TwonkyManager/Server are running on 2 different PC?

This articles pertains to port conflicts between the two products, so it is not applicable when talking about running the applications in isolation on multiple nodes. Twonky 7.0 does not impact your license count for TwonkyManager either, so nothing to worry about there. I'm updating the title of the article to help clarify this point. Thanks for your feedback.

Hi,
I was running fine with a valid license for Twonky Manager when using server 6.x. But now when I install 7 (and I tried uninstalling everything, then installing 7, then installing Manager without the server option), I get an error message in Manager telling me that I only have a license for Twonky Server, not for manager. If I install with the server option then it installs 6.x, not 7.
Any help much appreciated. -

Hi Paul,
I'm sorry for the delay in responding. We have recently released TwonkyManager 3.0, which includes Twonky 7.0 and works with myTwonky. This is a free update for those with license keys for TwonkyManager 2.0 or TwonkyServer 6.0. This will not require any of the previous workarounds.
To install this, please make sure that you have your license key and uninstall TwonkyManager 2.0 and Twonky 7.0. Then install TwonkyManager 3.0 from http://twonky.com/support/downloads.aspx. You will be prompted to enter your license key during the install.
To connect TwonkyManager to a Twonky account, click the gears icon in TwonkyManager while your local server is selected. You will open a web browser window that shows your server settings. From the status page, click the Register Server button. This will bring up a pop-up window where you can sign into an existing Twonky account or sign up for one. Once logged in, your server will be linked to your Twonky account.
Hope this helps and please let me know if you have any problems.
Thanks,
Cindy -
