    !!! WARNING !!!
I ran into an issues more than once during my tests in unlinking my account
That in doing so resulted in this when trying to launch the Twonky Channel
It took many uninstall/reinstalls to get it to work again
I suspect/hope that this will get resolved in future versions
I think the key to resolveing the issue was to wait enough time
for things to flush out on the backend, but thats just a guess

The godd news is that even with the below error message
one can still beam to the roku

  • Where is the My Library channel that exists on myTwonky?

    Good question!
It appears that it doesnt exist yet
That was one of the first things I was hoping for to be there
As it would have made the Roku a great client for Twonky Server
As the My Library channel in myTwonky would list any local Twonky Servers

I hope that in a future release they do offer this ability

But at least one can easily beam content from a local Twonky Server
with Twonky Beam to a Roku with the Twonky Channel installed

  • I’m confused
If my Twonky server is in one room and the Roku is in the other, does this channel actually use my ISP to send my content out to the web then back to my Roku?

  • If you are watching non local content, media from the channels
then it is being pulled from the internet

If you are beaming local twonky server content to the Roku, no
beaming tells the roku to pull the content from the local server

  • Great news, thanks. I've installed the Twonky Beam app on my phone and the channel on my Roku, but every video I try to send from my Twonky Server says the format is invalid. Extra strange because the server is set to transcode to mp4, but one step at a time.
