What's New in Version 3.3.0
• Beam to Xbox 360 (with “PlayTo” enabled).
• Beam to Roku streaming player (requires Twonky channel to be installed on Roku).
• This version of Twonky Beam supports DTCP-IP streaming from recorders. Move and copy are not supported.
- Supported recorders: BDZ-EX3000, BDZ-ET2000, BDZ-ET1000, BDZ-AX2700T, BDZ-AT970T, BDZ-AT950W, BDZ-SKP75, and BDZ-AT770T.
- NOTE 1: Twonky Beam needs to have permission to access photos in privacy settings to start DTCP-IP playback on iOS6 and above.
- NOTE 2: Due to device capability, DTCP-IP streaming user experience is not as good on iPod Touch, iPad (first generation), and iPhone4.
and noticed this from the whats new
• Beam to Roku streaming player (requires Twonky channel to be installed on Roku).
I wasnt aware of a Twonky channel for the Roku
and so I went looking, but was unable to find one, on the roku site
Is there a channel that one has to manually add somewhere else?
(as some channels you have to do this, but need to know a code to do it)
Or is it that the channel has not been released yet?

My apologies, I had mentioned a wrong link for download of Twonky Channel on Roku device. The correct link for installing channel is:
https://owner.roku.com/add/mytwonky
I request all who may have installed from the old link to remove the Twonky channel from Roku boxes and install from the updated link mentioned above. That way you will get the latest version of the app and will automatically get any updates which we publish in the future.
Regards,
Kiran
- Twonky channel on my Roku using new link you provided. My Roku box is Roku-XS 2. It's software is upto date as of today (12/14). I also linked my Twonky a/c to the channel
- Then I installed Twonky Beam app on my iPad 2 (running iOS version 5.1.1)
- Still I am not able to see my Roku Box in "Display Devices" list inside the app
- It only shows "This Device" and play (Beam) on my iPad only
Note - My Roku player is wired to my router. Could that be an issue. Do I need to connect Roku wireless?
Any input is appreciated. Thanks

I tried to connect Roku wirelessly and that did the trick. I can Beam to Roku now.
I should have tried that before submitting the question. My apologies.
